A decision support system is any piece of software intended to help humans make decisions. This may be a simple visualisation or dashboard, or may include AI or machine learning, often in combination with forms of visualisation or explanation. The term visual analytics may be used for systems that combine sophisticated visulaisation and {{AI} with rich user interaction.
